It has been an awful season for Les, he has missed most of the games so far this season and has also missed matches for England.  He has scored only 7 goals for Spurs this season who is quite dissapointing by Les' standard but he has been hit with injury after injury.  He had to have an operation in early October which seen hhim miss thr big game - Italy and England in Rome.  But Les is the model pro he was not complaining about being injured for Spurs and missing out for England.  Les' latest injury was against Blackbun Rovers at Ewood Park in February and he also had to miss out England's game against Chile at Wembley 4 days later.  He hopes to be back in action in a few weeks.

We Hope so too.
